Alison Genest: An experienced outsider
(Part 7 of a 7-part series)

Hi, I’m Alison Genest, candidate for Dracut Selectman.

Unlike the other candidates, I’m an experienced outsider.

My 30-year career in financial services includes budgeting, management and oversight—relevant, real-world experience that will help move our community forward.

I’m running for Selectman to help keep Dracut affordable, strengthen planning and oversight and support our police officers and firefighters.

Recently, I led the charge to fix the violations of the town’s Beaver Brook Trail Project, making sure the environmental laws were followed and things were done the right way in the protected wetlands. I got results.

Coming from a farming family, care about conservation and preservation and I take our stewardship of the land very seriously.

I’m a political newcomer. I’m not an insider. I’m running a positive campaign, working to bring people together to make a difference from Dracut.

As your Selectman, I’ll be an independent voice and I’ll focus on getting results.

You can count on me to think for myself, ask the tough questions and do the right thing for Dracut.

Together, let’s make Dracut stronger and more successful than ever.

I respectfully ask for your vote for Selectman on June 29. Thank you.
